Wendy has over 14 years experience in running businesses and feels the most important part of running a business is treating her staff properly. “It is all about the training,” says Wendy, “Promoting a professional atmosphere where the girls can grow as individuals”.
Having used domestic cleaning companies after inheriting two step children at the age of 2 and 4 years old, and running two businesses before The Cleaning Partnership from the age of 26, she felt the pressure and demands every women feels with young children and therefore took on cleaning companies to help with cleaning her home. The standard of domestic cleaning was not up to Wendy’s very high standards and the support she received from the administrators was very disappointing.
Wendy feels that cleaning homes is extremely personal and wants to kick the trend by bringing in more highly trained staff (NVQ) level to cope with the demands of clients who were spending money on expensive kitchens, floors and ornaments. The girls need to understand how to clean properly and know how to communicate with the office when clients need more help in other areas etc. Our lives are so busy, we need to be able to rely and trust on the individuals who we bring in to help us. Wendy prides herself on choosing the right people to work in this company who all have discrete personalities who Wendy can then train to the highest standards.
Wendy launched her 21st century cleaning business and has over 100 clients to date, split between 7 teams.
Wendy launched The Ironing Emporium in October 2010, Wendy is very proud of her quint essential ironing shop based in Brasted High Street, Kent, Wendy felt the ironing service complimented the Cleaning Company, we pick up the ironing and deliver back to you when finished, within 48 hours.
